Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Building Timelapse (the "Service"), operated by Jupiter Labs Consulting ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy are part of these Terms and are incorporated by reference.
Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 (and not under 16 in the EU/UK). If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organization.
The Service
Building Timelapse is an AI tool for real-estate developers and architects. You upload a photo of a current real-estate site together with a future architectural rendering (which you upload, or which the Service can auto-generate), and the Service produces a short cinematic AI "construction timelapse" video that transitions the site from its current state to the future rendering.
We may change, add, or remove features of the Service over time. The Service relies on third-party AI providers, and availability, quality, and processing times are not guaranteed.
Accounts and security
To use the Service you create an account with your email and a password. Each account has one workspace. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to notify us promptly at support@buildingtimelapse.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or limit accounts to protect the Service, including to prevent signup abuse (for which we use your IP address as described in our Privacy Policy).
Credits and payments
The Service runs on Credits. We sell Credits as one-time, pay-as-you-go packs. There are no subscriptions and no recurring billing. The current packs are: Starter, $19 for 20 Credits; Creator, $49 for 60 Credits; and Studio, $99 for 150 Credits. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change for future purchases.
How Credits are spent
Generating a video spends Credits. The Credit cost of a generation varies with the clip length, the quality tier you choose (draft or production), and which AI model you select. The cost is shown before you confirm a generation.
- New accounts receive 6 free Credits at signup.
- Credits do not expire.
- If a generation fails, the Credits reserved for it are automatically refunded, so you are not charged Credits for failures.
Watermark
Outputs created using your free signup Credits carry a visible watermark. Making any Credit purchase permanently removes the watermark from your Outputs.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. By purchasing Credits, you authorize the applicable charge and agree to Stripe's terms in addition to these Terms.
Refunds
Credits already spent on generations are non-refundable, because spending them triggers real, paid third-party AI compute that we cannot recover. Unused Credits from a recent purchase may be refundable on request, at our discretion, within 14 days of purchase if the Credits are substantially unused. Failed generations never cost Credits, and the Credits reserved for them are returned automatically. Duplicate or erroneous charges and clear service faults are refunded.
Full details, including time limits and how to request a refund, are in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. To make a request, contact support@buildingtimelapse.com.
Your Content and the license you grant us
"Content" means the images you upload, including site photos and renderings, along with any prompts or settings you provide. "Outputs" means the videos and any images the Service generates for you. You must own or have all rights necessary to upload and use your Content. You are solely responsible for your Content.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, transmit, and display your Content and Outputs solely to operate and provide the Service to you. This includes transmitting your images and derived prompts to the Sub-processors listed below in order to produce your Outputs.
Ownership of inputs and Outputs
As between you and us, you keep all rights to your Content, and you own the Outputs you generate. We do not claim ownership of your Content or Outputs beyond the limited license you grant us above.
Your rights in the Outputs are subject to the terms of the Sub-processors and the underlying AI models used to create them. Those third-party terms may affect what you can do with Outputs, and you are responsible for complying with them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to do any of the following:
- Upload or use any Content you do not own or have the rights to use.
- Use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful purpose.
- Use Outputs to fraudulently misrepresent what will actually be built, permitted, or constructed.
- Abuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent or disrupt the Service.
- Use automated scraping or other automated means to access the Service except as we expressly permit.
We may remove Content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that we reasonably believe violate these Terms.
AI Outputs are visualizations only
Outputs are AI-generated visualizations created for illustration and marketing purposes only. They are approximate, may be inaccurate or not to scale, and are generated by AI models that can produce errors or artifacts.
Outputs are not architectural, engineering, surveying, or investment advice, and they are not a representation, promise, or guarantee of what will actually be built, permitted, or constructed. You are responsible for how you present and use Outputs, and you should not rely on them as an accurate depiction of any real project.
Third-party services and Sub-processors
To operate the Service, we use the following third-party services ("Sub-processors"). Your use of the Service involves transmitting Content to some of them as needed to produce Outputs. This list matches the Sub-processors described in our Privacy Policy:
- Cloudflare, for hosting and infrastructure, the D1 database, and R2 object storage of your uploaded images and generated videos.
- Stripe, for payment processing.
- Replicate, for AI video generation and image rendering.
- OpenRouter, for AI vision analysis of your images.
These services operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. Our handling of your data and the Sub-processors are described further in our Privacy Policy.
Warranty disclaimer
The Service and all Outputs are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that Outputs will meet your expectations or be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$50.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and our officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your Content, your Outputs, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law or third-party rights.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support@buildingtimelapse.com (self-serve account deletion is planned).
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Unused Credits are non-refundable on termination except as provided in our Refund Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity, will survive.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the effective date above and take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in the State of Idaho, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
